It is an accessory used as a connecting element between chains and their accessories in applications of lifting, handling and mooring loads.
The padlock is produced and forged in steel alloy grade 8 – Standard ASTM A-952 and has a work load marked in relief on the piece and yellow epoxy paint finish.
All individual elements of Seyconel chain slings correspond to grade 8 according to DIN 5687-8 (EN818-2) and DIN 5691 (EN 1677).
Therefore, they meet the equivalent national norm (ABNTS NBR) and the accessories meet the quality criteria described by DIN EN ISO 9001.
